Introduction to Padma Awards
The Padma Awards are one of the highest civilian honors in India, presented annually to recognize exceptional contributions in various fields.
This year, President Droupadi Murmu will confer the Padma Awards 2026 at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi.

Awards and Recipients
A total of 65 Padma Awards will be presented, including two Padma Vibhushan, seven Padma Bhushan, and 56 Padma Shri awards.

- Padma Bhushan: The third highest civilian award, conferred for distinguished service of high order.
